Flex Messaging Issue

I'm trying to get my flex app up and running.  This is the first one that I've developed.  My app is not currently receiveing the messages that it is supposed to at the moment.  I'm confused as to why.  Any help would be appreciated.  I posted a snippet of the code.  The message , by the wayt, is being send from a remote method in a FlexSessionListener. postedCode.txt

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Forgot the subscription code sorry.  Here it is:
private function subscribe():void{
                        if(chatRoom){
                              if(chatRoom.chatRoomId){
                                    var selector:String = "&chatRoomId="+chatRoom.chatRoomId;
                                    multimediaChatRoomConsumer.selector = selector;
                                    multimediaChatRoomConsumer.subscribe();
                              }else{}
                        }else{}
                  }

Are you sure that

      chatRoom and chatRoom.chatRoomId

are different from null the moment subscribe() is called?
In other words, are you sure you really subscribe()?

I figured out the problem.  You can't have more than one consumer subscribe the the same messaging channel in the same app. I had to create another channel in tomcat.
