monitor color calibration options
Hi experts,
I have had a Huey Pro color correction device by Pantone, that I used for several LCD monitors, all of different manufacturers. I was never terribly impressed with it and during my last attempt, even though there is no carpeting where I have my computer system set up, there must've been a static charge buildup.
The lights on the Huey monitor were operating normally following a calibration and I touched the unit, causing all the lights to immediately go out. 2 days later, after administering CPR, I somehow revived the unit but not all the lights are going on.
I'm wondering if there are other similar (but better) products on the market, which will not single-handedly wipe out the national debt, that you would recommend. I'm in process of going to a 4 LCD monitor set up and would like to find out what's available and what are my options.
Thank you.

You are looking for a color calibration tool isnt it?
chromix.com is selling all kinds of tools for that which all or most all work both for pc and mac.
They are also selling services for calibrations, like special made profiles for clients. Pc and mac too.
http://www2.chromix.com/colorgear/?-session=SessID:C290134D09d77235A0iuhg9F6FDE is the store.
What I like it that chromix is a one stop place to buy anything you can think of conserning color calibration.

I've been looking at chromix.com for the last hour and still cannot figure out what they do or what they provide for windows environments machines. In addition, I can't see any no charge services that apply to non-Mac environments and can't really tell what the products do, other than selling other products that do monitor profiling.
What am I missing?
