I have changed the pointer to the IP and added mx records which got email coming back but not access via remote,xxx.com and phones will not sync
I think I have to add a A record for remote?
Yes, any sub domains that point to other servers will need a record with the correct IP address of that server.
Well after the night no go on accessing the remote portion of SBS.  What record do I add to DNS with GOdaddy that will make this work.  I intially thought if I just pointed the whole domain to the server that SBS DNS would take care of the rest.
buddy ... did u try pinging from outside the network ? see which ip you get... if you don't find your ip ... add the host (A) record ... also you can run a whois lookup to see your settings registered on the internet for your domain

also make sure the ports are open ,,,
Added the record but didn't save it.lol
Was looking for what records needed to be added such as
A record to up and a record for remote
