Outlook only checks spelling of the subject of a new e-mail

We have outlook 2007 installed on one of our sbs2003 domain clients and all works just fine, apart from the spell ckecker.

This only checks the subject line, and not the body of the message. Having checked the subject line, it just says that spell checking is complete.

How do we get it to check the main body of the e-mail.

Any help would be appreciated.

You are most probably using an Auto-Signature and typing the guts of your message into the middle of the Auto-Signature block.  Outlook doesn't spell check that part!

Blooming annoying, but that's how it does it!

I changed my habits when I discovered that to stop using an Auto-Signature and adding an Exchange Disclaimer instead!  But it depends on the version of Exchange you have.

Either way - try it without the auto-signature and watch it spell-check.  Then you just need to work out how to get around the problem, which I might be able to help you with.

We are not suing exchange for this particular user it is just a POP3 account. Does that make any difference?
