IBM Websphere 61 and IBM HTTP Server

Hi there,
I was built IBM  Websphere 6.0 Web Application Server and IBM HTTP Server (IBM IHS 6.0). It was working properly, and I can control Apache Web Server with IBM IHS using apachectl commands. Recently, I've installed IBM Websphere 6.1, and problems started.
1. Should I reinstall IBM IHS 6.0 for WAS61? Because some settings in IHS 60 are not correct for WAS 61. Is there any way to change there settings under IBMIHS directory without reinstall? WAS 61 and IHS60 are compatible?
2. Or, should I install a new version of IHS for WAS61?
3. After install, I want to redirect www.myportal.com:10040/wps/portal TO www.myportal.com
Is it enough to change httpd.conf file under IHS/conf directory?
Regards,
Mustafa

Q1. Should I reinstall IBM IHS 6.0 for WAS61?
A1. No.  Use IHS 6.1  Enough changes occurred from 6.0 -> 6.1 that the 6.1 AppServer plugin may have
problems working with IHS 6.0.  I'm sure that the 6.1 plugin is not supported by the 6.0 web server.

Q2. Or, should I install a new version of IHS for WAS61?
A2. I believe that this would be the preferred option.  Additionally, should you need to contact IBM support,
you will have to use this configuration because the other isn't supported.

Q3. After install, I want to redirect www.myportal.com:10040/wps/portal TO www.myportal.com
Is it enough to change httpd.conf file under IHS/conf directory?
A3. So you want this URL
      www.myportal.com:10040/wps/portal
      to be redirected to this?
      www.myportal.com/   (i.e., www.myportal.com:80/)

I would be even easier to have a trivial index.html page at www.myportal.com:10040/wps/portal
that does an immediate redirect.  But I guess you might be able to do it by having the proper
      directives in httpd.conf
