I have made a mistake I am using word and outlook 2002 and this article does not relate to this version. &nbsp;Also the computer I am sending the merged document to in the first place is not on the network. &nbsp;Any Ideas?

We email word documents to our warehouse which is off site and lately they have not been able to open them as the following message keeps appearing.<br />

Can't create file, Letter1.doc. right click the folder you want to create the file in and then click properties on the shortcut menu to check the permissions for the folder.<br />

Does anyone know why this is happening please?

Word .doc will not open when we email it due to security

Microsoft Word is a commercial document editing program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite. It features numerous text-editing tools for creating richly formatted documents, along with tools for the use of macros in Word documents. Word's native file formats are denoted either by a .doc or .docx file extension. Plugins permitting the Windows versions of Word to read and write formats it does not natively support, such as the OpenDocument format (ODF) are available.
