How do i fix collation conflict between tables in the same db

I'm trying to update a table via a select but i'm getting the following error..

Cannot resolve the collation conflict between "Latin1_General_CI_AS"
and "SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS" in the equal to operation.

I'm quite new to this so could you please give me an idea on how i can fix this in easy steps please?

Try one of those aproaches:

... WHERE Col1
= Col2 COLLATE Latin1_General_CI_AS

... WHERE Col1 COLLATE SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS
= Col2

you can use the COLLATE keyword on the specific column that triggers the error.
