Cursor Hand not showing in Firefox and also not showing in "dropdown" in IE too

Please look at this page:

http://garagehaul.com/

The "problem" is the "hand cursor".  Specifically I am talking about the top navigation bar. (About Us, Rental Center, etc.)   The hand cursor shows properly on the rest of the page.

In Internet explorer IE8 the hand is showing for the cursor.  However when someone selects one of the dropdowns, such as Location dropdown the submenus do not show a hand.  Just a pointer.  Perhaps that is normal.  Not sure.  But if the dropdowns can show a hand that would be a good fix.

Iin Firefox and Chrome the top navigation does not show a hand at all.  Not in the main menu and not in the dropdowns.

So my Solution request is:

1) For Firefox and Chrome  I need the hand showing in the top navigation.  And ideally I would also want the hand showing in the submenuts (such as in Location)

2)  For IE I would like, if possible, the hand to also show in the dropdown submenus.

Thanks for your help!

HI

Thanks!

That fixed the main menu.

The submenus are still not showing the cursor in the dropdown.   So I have attached the controlling CSS (at least I think it's the controlling css).   Perhaps you can give me some code to add to the css to "force" the cursor to be "pointer".

Hi Khan,

Here's the live site:

http://garagehaul.com/

I just think I need to add some code to to my css to "override" anything that is preventing the hand from showing in the dropdown in Firefox and Chrome (I looked at other websites with dropdowns in Firefox and Chrome and the hand is indeed showing in the dropdowns.

So I am looking for some css to add to my css that will "forse" the submenus to show a hand.

Even I found in your give Website you already added this peace of code in CSS

a.yuimenuitemlabel {
    background-color: transparent;
    border: 0 none;
    color: #000000;
    cursor: default;
    height: auto;
    line-height: 1.5;
    padding: 0 20px !important;
    text-decoration: none;
}

Open in new window

So don't change according to my last post just change this peace of css code by following

a.yuimenuitemlabel {
    background-color: transparent;
    border: 0 none;
    color: #000000;
    cursor: pointer;
    height: auto;
    line-height: 1.5;
    padding: 0 20px !important;
    text-decoration: none;
}

HI khan_webguru,

Thanks for that suggestion.

There are a number of stylesheets controlling this site.  Would it be possible for you to include the link to the stylesheet where you found

 cursor: default;

Thanks

THanks. I only had to make a slight modification.

Note  I made the modification on the live site.  The site I was using for the demo I have taken down so that it does not interfere with the live site's Search Engine Optimization.

Thanks for your help and skills in helping me troubleshoot this!
