How do I correct time stamp on email for Outlook 2003 InBox?

Time stamp on incoming email is one hour earlier than actually time sent.  Email sent is in same time zone.  Sent email has the correct time stamp as does the Windows XP Pro OS (SP3).  POP and SMTP servers are and  I have run a "Detect and Repair" but have not re-installed Outlook. Problem persists.

using the gmail web interface, have you checked the time zone for both the sender and receiver?

This sounds like a DST (Daylight Savings Time) issue on either the operating system or the Gmail settings. While the emails are being sent/received in the same time zone, options exist to set Pacific Daylight Time to UTC-08:00 or UTC-8:00 and to Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Savings Time.  Currently with the 'Automatically adjust clock for Daylight Savings Time' set, Pacific Daylight Time is technically now UTC-07:00 until the first Sunday in November again.
