Want Excel to accept cell value by clicking button, not using ENTER key

Hello,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to enter a new value into a cell and have Excel accept that value after clicking a button rather than having to hit enter or shift first?

Clicking on any command button (that you have added to a worksheet) automatically closes the cell entry.

What are you trying to accomplish? Do you want to use a mouse action instead of a keyboard action?

There is also a green check mark in the formula bar you can click to close the cell.

If I select a cell and change the nymbers in a cell...no buttons will work until I hit enter or shift.  I would like to be able to click a form button and have the cell value be automatically registered.  Are you saying this would work with a command button?

Perhaps you can enter the new value in a user form and, when you click OK on the form, the value is pushed to the desired cell and your VBA code can continue.

That is a good idea...my app is just too big for that, however.  My users will just have to get used to this.
