color problem

Hi Experts,

I doing a site mockup and the logo is just solid green #056839.  You can see the body is currently white and I'd like to use a nice color in the body behind the page div.  The problem is that I can't find a color that sits well behind that thick green used in the menu & logo.  I've been fooling around with it on and off for days and can't get anywhere.  Adobe Kuler doesn't come up with any nice colors to work either.

So does any one have an idea of what color would look nice behind this page as the body color? By the way, the main div or page background will stay white.. just trying to find a good body backgroud color.

Ignore the purple-ish 'learn more links' that was me experimenting.

Thanks!

In my experience, a neutral off-white or cream goes well with just about any other accent color you can throw at it. Try something like #F7F6F2

Cheers!

One way would be to use light gray color like 240, 240, 240 and play with white at the same time. Like not letting the gray touch the green but leave a white line between.
Also let the product boxes be with white background. See sample.

I would go with a lighter version of the green. Also I'd extend the head, footer, body bg to the edges of the page, the right and left margin look very thin. lt green
