How to replicate an 2007 MS Access database

Hello everybody

I have an Access database on a server, and needs to have a replica on 3 different computers.

How do I make these replicas in Access 2010?

Is it possible to replicate to a computer, where only Access 2007 is installed?, and can we synchronize data from that computer as well?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If you are using Accdb files then there is no replication facility available.
You would have to write it all yourself.

Note that earlier versions of Access supported replication (those in the .mdb format). Also, SQL Server Express supports replication. SSE is free and integrates very nicely with Access.

It would have been a great help if any work around on this could be made. For instance ODBC links and update queries that could solve the issue.

Building your own replication strategy involves a LOT more than just update queries. Also, had you replied to the comments we made and asked for further details, we certainly could have tried to point you in the right direction.
