"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is the TAPI, which can provide you with access in some cases. Your provider may also provide you with commandline or other utilities which might enable you to dial a number.

Who is your service provider? Note that many of them are web-based, therefore you might have some issues using their methods from Access.

When you add a button to a form using the control Wizard you’ll have the “Auto Dialer” option in the Miscellaneous category.
Windows Telephony has to be configured correctly for this to work.
