Citrix Xenapp 6 Published desktop and published apps

I have 4 Xenapp 6 servers.
I have published applications spanned over the 4 servers.
I only seems to be able to open apps if they are published on the primary Xenapp server however. If i try open an app which is published only on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th servers, I receive the following error on my Web interface Server.

Event ID 30102
Source - Citrix Web Interface

Site path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\XenApp.

The Citrix servers reported an unspecified error from the XML Service at address http://"my FQDN":80 [com.citrix.xml.NFuseProtocol.RequestLaunchRef]. [Unique Log ID: 75413f60]

Sorry, I mean

The Citrix servers reported an unspecified error from the XML Service at address http://"my primary Xenapp Server FQDN":80 [com.citrix.xml.NFuseProtocol.RequestLaunchRef]. [Unique Log ID: 75413f60]

This is the first time you are encountering this issue? Was it working fine in the past? If yes, then make sure IMA service is running fine on the other servers and they are licensed properly.

Did you install any update recently?

Is it the 1st Time I have encountered the issue, but is also only just been created. This was the 1st time I had tested running the apps hosted on the servers other than the primary server.

We are licenced correctly.
From what I can assume, it is trying to open the app from our primary Xenapp server, but the app is installed on our 2nd, 3rd and 4th xenapp servers.

From a command prompt do a qfarm and send us a screen shot of the results (command window only).  Make sure you white out the IP addresses.
on the web interface or one of the xenapp servers?
XenApp.  You Web Interface server should not be a farm member if it is going to be in the DMZ (from your other question).
its not in a DMZ. both secure gateway and web interface are on the same server inside the domain.
The CSG/WI server should NOT have any XenApp components installed.  Only the CSG and WI stuff.  So on one of your four XenApp servers, go to a command prompt, type in qfarm and send us the screen shot.

MGCXA02SYD is your Zone Data Collector (ZDC).  That is the server your CSG and WI should be pointing to for STA and XML Broker stuff.
I see. How do you change it to mgcxa01syd?
In the Delivery Services Console, go to Zones, click your zone, click mgcxa01syd, right-click, select Set server's zone election preference, select Most Preferred, click OK.  For the rest of the servers, either select Default Preferrence or Not Preferred.

Once all the changes are made, at a command prompt type in querydc -e and then qfarm.  Does 01 now have the "D"?
I have made the changes and now 01 has the D.

Still seem to have the same issue however. I have done also as you have recomended and changed from servers to worker groups in the published apps properties.

Issue is whenever I try open an app which is not published on 01 (so is published on 02 in this case), I receive the following event on the WI server:

Site path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot\Citrix\PNAgent.

The Citrix servers reported an unspecified error from the XML Service at address http://mgcxa01syd.(myFQDN):80 [com.citrix.xml.NFuseProtocol.RequestLaunchRef]. [Unique Log ID: 1e0d376e]

I am using port 80 for XML services. It has also been configured to use port 80 on the WI and CSG.
