SQL Server 2008 management studio with SQL Server 2005

Hello,
I would like to install SQL Server managment studio 2008 on my PC. I currently have 2 SQL 2005 servers and wasn't for the moment interested in updating them, I would just like the 2008 Management studio (not the express one though, it doesn't seem to include the profiler or the email configurations under Management). Is it possible or am I obliged to buy a SQL Server 2008 suite?
Thank you
James

It's possible. Just make sure you have latest patch applied.

Ok, where would i download the management studio from though? On the microsoft website I can only seem to find the express version for 2008.
The mangement studio is included in the full sql server package, and not the express package. So you need to download the full version and then just install that bit.

the only full 2008 i can find is here:

http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/trial-software.aspx

But it seems to be a trial version for 180 days, will the management studio be "forever"?

Thank you, this is what i wanted to know. I thought the management studio was free and just the server part needed a licence, and i wanted management studio 2008 using my 2005 servers.
Thank you for the help,
James
