WSUS and monitoring downloads for approvals

I have been using WSUS 3.0 for some time now. Wondering an easy way to monitor the download status of items once approved. After running a sync and approving patches/updates, nothing in WSUS do I see tells me when downloads are complete. This is important because I need to download and bring content to a disconnected WSUS server. Is there a way, currently I just watch Networking in task manager, which to me isnt the best indicator. Appreciate any feedback.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The WSUS server page.  Just below the synchronization status section is a heading "download Status"  It will tell you how many file are still in need of downloading.
