wwwDAVRoot Error: You might not have permission, cannot open SharePoint folder in Windows Explorer
Attached is the error that we are getting when trying to open a Sharepoint folder in Windows Explorer.
We tried increasing permissions. No success.
The Web Client service is started. So, there is no need to mess with it.
And, I cannot edit the registry on the IIS box to contain a new DWORD value as a Microsoft KB article suggested. When I try to go to Edit...New...DWORD, the Registry Editor tells me that it can't create a value.
I'd rather not move any of the documents in this document library for fear of losing or messing up those documents.
What is the fix for this?

2-Are / were you able to perform this function from any other machine ?
3-The URL you are referencing does not look like a SharePoint standard URL , are you connecting to a library , or a list ?
