WebServer on VM

What it will be the risks if I make host on Esxi at my BladeCenter the webserver(website), and configure a lan port at blabe switch to speak with DMZ and assign this port at the virtual lancard of hosted webserver.
How safe it can be this?
Or if you have other reason in order not have webserver at Esxi.

Best Regards

Safe. The ESXi management port does not have to be exposed and can be on a different network.

Hosting a Webserver on ESXi, is the same as using a physical machine.

esx has a firewall put the virtual web server into the dmz ip range and forward port 80 (8080)to the ip address of the virtual web server that way nobody can see the server is even inside of esx
