Setup Autodiscover to use External Host on SBS 2008

Hello.

The decision was made to use an external hosted exchange provider to increase email availability.  How do I modify the Autodiscover to provide the external host's information instead of the SBS server's information?  The issue I am hitting is once the domain client is setup on the external Exchange server, the RPC over HTTPS is being changed to the internal Exchange server's information and a login box is prompting the users for a password.

For example, the external Exchange server information is:
east.exch.[external host address].net

And the RPC over HTTPS should be:

east.exch.[external host address].net
msstd: exch[external host address].net

When outlook restarts, the RPC over HTTPS looks like this:

remote.[internal domain name].local
msstd: remote.[internal domain name].local

Thanks for the help in advance.
