"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I use WS_FTP (Ipswitch). It is one of the best available and not expensive. I use it on my Windows 7 Pro 64-bit machine. ... Thinkpads_User

Personally, I use Smart Ftp and Filezilla.

I use filezilla. Never had a reason not to. All free, Mac, PC, Linux versions.

filezilla (http://filezilla-project.org)  if you want a free-ware FTP, and I used FTP voyager which is NOT freeware, has several features. Link at www.rhinosoft.com

sorry to post a "me too" but - you would need a good reason NOT to use filezilla (and there may be some, but most use cases won't ever see them)
