Ubuntu 10.04 and RD 1000

I have just upgraded my server from Ubuntu 8.04 to 10.04.
Ubuntu doesn't detect my RD 1000 disk any more.

Actualy, it seems that while upgrading Ubuntu from 8.04 to 10.04, my hard disk drive changed its device from /dev/sda to /dev/sdb.

My /etc/fstab was previously like the following (in 8.04) :
/dev/sda6 / ........
/dev/sda7 /home .........
/dev/sdb1 /media/rd1000 ........

Now, my fstab is different (in 10.04):
UUID=...... / ....
UUID=....... /home ....
/dev/sdb1 /media/rd1000 ........

At boot time, a "df" command gives that my hard disk drive is on /sdb6 and /sdb7.
I understand that there is a conflict between my hard disk drive and my RD1000.

I solved the problem by changing in my fstab the following:
# /dev/sdb1 /media/rd1000 ........
/dev/sda1 /media/rd1000 ........

an it works fine now !

I hope my own experience will be usefull to someone else
check /media to see if there al any new filesystems added. I've seen this once before where the drive was visible under another name.
