The nk2 file is the "autofill" file that pops in a name in the "to" field when you start to type an email.  It contains only a name and an email address.  No notes, phone numbers or addresses are contained in it. The pst2 file has a contact database with dozens of fields.  There are programs to be found on the web that can read, display, and extract data from the nk2 file.    Check out www.nk2.info

Compare the contact list (which may be nothing bu email addresses) with the actual csv file.  It may be that only emails were entered, never names.  If you find names in the csv file that are NOT in the contact list, you need to step through the import to find the place where you can point the fields First Name, Last Name, to the right spot on the CSV.
