HP Pavilion dv7t Laptop

I bought a HP Pavilion dv7t laptop in Feb 2010 and it is acting strange.
It had a gray screen, but I could move the mouse. I did a hard reboot after I logged on, the screen flckered a few times
and I got a blue screen. It said something about the display and I rebooted in safe mode to reinstall the drivers.

That didnt work, so I did a factory restore on it. Same problem. I get the login screen but after I login, the scren flickers a few times and just goes gray.

Could this be a video card issue? If not, what else?

Did a qiuck Google search "dv7t screen flicker"  there are many more like you.  I would see about returning it at most, at a minimum get HP to warranty repair.

since u already tried to reinstall the Display Driver and did a factory restore with no joy, i would suspect the graphic / video card faulty .... you might need to look for HP to replace it if it is still under warranty. Cheers ~~~~~
