Exchange 2010 and Outlook Web App

When I connect to Outlook Web App (https://mail.acme.dom/com/exchange) I need to login to my mailbox with the Windows domain name ("domain\user")

I would like to connect without the Windows domain name (just typing "user")

Is it possible ?
The solution would be to tell Outloook Web App that the default Windows domain name in "domain". But I do not know how to do it

Thank you

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
