restauring iphone

i just bought a iphone with the firmware 4.3

i need to downgrade it to 4.2 but my only concern is if i do this downgrade

what will append with my phone provider.

So long as you do not mess up the phone while downgrading, the provider will not be involved...

If there is a problem with the phone as a result of the downgrading, the warranty might not be available to help you with problems.
You can do it, but the thing is how you will do it? , the provider never will know because you are changing the OS, thats it. After you do this , you have to activate the phone with the itunes, if you have the original provider chip inside, you phone will be activated without problem
