Unable to start Blackberry Router ... Port 3101 may be in use by another application.

I've just installed BESX on a Windows 2003 SBS Server and the installation went fine.

I noticed that the Blackberry Router couldn't start and found in the event viewer with the following error: [SERVICE_MANAGER] SRP StartListening failed. Port 3101 may be in use by another application.

I used TCPView to find out what other programs could be using Port 3101 and found that the following is also accessing port 3101: F:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.SAGE200\MSSQL\Binn\sqlservr.exe

Is there any way I could change the Port so I can get the Blackberry Router started?

Thank you in advance

Here are some instructions for changing that port from RIM.

I've changed the Port to 4101 but the bbsrptest.exe fails. keeping it on 3101 passes.
It may be that the firewall needs configured to accept the new port number.. here's even more info on that..

Thanks for the help guys.

Checked with BB Support and they said that Sage200 was using port 3101, had to change the port in SQL Server Configuration Manager to something else. After the change, I was able to start the Blackberry Router.

Contacted Blackberry Support and they identified the problem was not with BESX but another program was accessing the same Port. Had this changed and the Blackberry Router was then working.
