Biometric Clock In / Clock Out
Hello,
We recently purchased a biometric fingerprint device for one of our locations. Its intended purpose was simple: employee fingerprints to clock in, employee fingerprints to clock out, manager can view and print reports.
Easy, yeah? Unfortunately, the software we purchased was pretty awful. It made no distinction between a clock-in and clock-out punch (despite having distinct buttons for the two functions). Further, any punch after midnight was treated as the first punch of the day (this caused problems with our overnight staff) so we had scads and scads of missed punches. After working fruitlessly with their tech support, we decided to scrap the thing and select a new vendor.
Does anyone have any suggestions? What we need (as described above) is simple. Button to clock in, button to clock out, software to view / print reports.
Please respond with any suggestions.
