Event ID 51

I have a SBS 2003 which has an event id of 51, but how do I resolve?  I came in this morning and noticed that the server had a duplicate IP problem.  I did the /release /renew thing and it seemed to have resolved the issue, but I also noticed this error.  Could the HD on the server be going bad?

Ok. Theres a few things here.

51 error - It doesn't mean the drive is bad. Have you updated the storage drivers?

Duplicate IP issue - What it conflicting with the server? You SBS server should have a static IP and be the DHCP server for the network. It's not good to have DHCP done by another device.

Hello It seems that you have connected External Drive to the server

Normally Event Id 51 occurred during Backup time on External Drive

>As per Microsoft these event id 51 may be logged when both of the following conditions are true:

1) A high volume of disk I/O operations are performed.
2) A time-out occurs during the interaction between Logical Disk Manager (LDM) and Plug and Play (PNP).

>These Events are only informational and can be safely ignored
