CSS problem

I have an image border around the content of my site:
http://tinyurl.com/3zgzbww

If you look between the body and the footer, there is a gap where the image breaks. any idea why that happens?

User/pass entered twice still unable to see site.  You may want to start using some css html resets.  Each browser has defaults for margins/padding/default font size etc.  Try adding the following to your css, it may help.  Also look for an image inside a paragraph <p> tag, and your paragraphs having a margin/padding you werent expecting.  Another tip would be to use right click then inspect element in google chrome, you might be able to hunt down the culprit that is causing your spacing that way.

Make the Background Color of Div ID=Footer : #FFFFFF
Remove the Background Image from Div ID Footer
Make the Width of Div ID footer = to the width of the content (816px)
Remove border-top-color and border-top width from Footer
Make the Width of colophon = 802px
Add the Background image that was on Footer Div to colophon Div
Add bordertop color and border top width to colophon

This should synch everything up.
   May wantn to cross-browser test it, but it looked good to me in IE and Firefox.

Hi lvollmer,
This is happening because the sides border are being applied using the "body-curvesides-bg" class, where your footer is placed outside of this div and it has its own background.

You can simply fix this by wrapping your footer in an extra div and give it the class="body-curvesides-bg" which would contain the footer within a similar div that contains the right and left borders.

Your code would look like this
<div class="top-curve">&nbsp;</div>
    <div class="body-curvesides-bg">
        <!-- Page Content -->
    </div>
    <div class="body-curvesides-bg">
        <div id="footer" role="contentinfo">
            <!-- Footer -->
        </div>
    </div>
