VS2010 How to create a simple WCF web service

Hi Experts..
Just dipping my toes into SPF 2010.
To achieve some line of business connectivity, it appears that I need to create a WCF web service (VS2010) initially, then have this consumed later via a SPF 2010 thingo....

What I'm looking for is a guide to creating a WCF Web Service using VS2010 to get me rolling.

Ultimately I want to pull some stuff drom a MySQL database and use these records in a SPF 2010 view or similar, but, as I mentioned initially, I will beed to create the Web Service initially...

Can anyone point me at a useful "Creating a simple WCF web service" article or video please?
I have googled it, but don't seem to get anything back that's entuirely rel;avent or explanative..

Thanks in advance

Dave

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Here are nice WCF Screencast videos from Pluralsight.  Check the link below.  These videos were recorded using Visual Studio 2008 and WCF 3.x. However, the core concepts they demonstrate do not change when using Visual Studio 2010 and WCF 4.
