Formula to seperate contents of cell

Hello,

Can someone please advise whether or not I would be able to do the following? I have attached an example of what I am looking for.
I have a database that exports info into excel but the problem is that it is exporting several dog species into one cell where as I need them all to be separated.
Is there any way that a formula could read the contents of one cell and then break up the info into separate cells on another sheet?
For example on the ‘data’ tab cell A3 has both cattle dog and poodle in it. I would like for that info to be separated as shown on the ‘example’ tab so that it has a 1 for poodle, 1 for cattle dog and 0 for any other species that are on the example tab but not in cell A3.

Is this possible?
