I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It is looking for the location of the original installation files. For example, if you installed from a DVD, then you need to insert that DVD and browse to that drive. If you installed from a network location, then you need to browse to that location. If you downloaded a free version (express or evaluation), you should download the product again. Hope that helps

Create folder manually and try again. If you will get error again then uninstall it full.

Thank you gentlemen. I originally started this as a developers box. I set this up for the developer to work on. He is not available and will be on another project and unable to finish what he started. How would I know if the installation of one of the SQL licenses is being used and what would be the best most thorough way to uninstall all of the SQL installs....? If you prefer I can start another question as this goes beyond the original. Please advise. Thank you.

I pointed to the disk and it let me get past the error. I had created a folder but it would not allow me to install so I do not think that was the best solution. Thank you for your help. I have posted another question for another SQL issue.
