I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Might be the OS or might be Citrix. Anything being logged to the event logs (system/application) when it happens? Might give you/us a clue as to what's causing it. Could even be a network blip causing the session to disconnect, and then a very short delay on the setting for how to deal with disconnected sessions.

From the start menu, administrative tools, terminal services configuration:
Within connections you'll have ICA-tcp and RDP-tcp. You've said it's citrix connections so right-click ICA-tcp, properties, go to the Sessions tab.
Check the sessions limits if the Override user settings box is ticked. If it's unticked it'll be something else...

If an active connection is broken shortly, then possible can be network issue and it will reconnect using session reliability..

Also under the sessions in ICA-tcp properties, check if time out value is specified for active state (disconnected, idle). If active state is 1 hour, after 1 hour of user activity on that ica connection, it may timeout.

Does it happen to all users on the server or just some?
Do you have more than one server in the farm, if so does it happen on all of them?
What about RDP sessions? Are they getting killed too?
0
Sekar ChinnakannuStaff EngineerAuthor Commented:
it happened to only two three users, only 25 servers in our farm. RDP no issue able to do on same time. session disconnected after than user connected to disconnected session.

To clarify, the sessions are not actually being reset - they're disconnecting? User are then able to pick up the disconnected sessions when they log back in again?
In that case it might be a network issue, and maybe you're not using session reliability (XTE, port 2598). In which case, you should probably turn on session reliability - and then when the network interruption occurs your users will only experience a 30 second (or so) pause before the session carries on.
