Add a Additional Server to a Domain

hi there

i would just like to know what the correct procedure is to do the following.
i have a SBS 2011 installed and then Windows 2008 running through Hyper-V (Virtual)
i need to add the virtual server to the domain so that it will be authorized on the domain.

what is the correct way of adding another server to the domain?

The DC Promo Process section describes how to add the server. It is advised to follow all of the proceeding steps.

You just join it to the domain under the computer properties screen section.

It doesn't need to be a domain controller but if you want it to be then just run DCPROMO on it to add it as a second domain controller.

Make sure the server uses the SBS servers IP address for DNS and no other 3rd party dns severs.
