Parallel processing of files

Hi all
I have a folder which contains about 100 files at a given time
The folder B can be written by System X and extracted by System Y
System Y need to be able to extract two given files  (e.g file1a and file1b )
at a given time.

What could be the best .NET function or architecture to perform
this processing

Thanks in Advance

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
