allow other Outlook user to view the calendar

If I want another user to view my outlook calendar, should I just right-click my calendar --> Share calendar --> then send to whoever I want to view my calendar???

OR

Give permissions at the mailbox level for the user as Reviewer and alo give permissions for the user at the calendar level as Reviewer too?

** which of the options is correct and the best ??

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The first option will give the same result as manually setting calendar permissions to reviewer.

No, the first option will not allow the user to read your email.  You setup shared calendar, it does not effect your inbox.

if you share your calendar and send that message to the the recipient to view your calendar.
is this going to be permanent and they will be able to view your calendar until you remove the sharing permissions, or it will be just like a snapshot for one time and then if you make any changes to your calendar they won't be able to see the new updates?.

Personally I don't recommend changing the calendar permissions unless you absolutely need to.

My preferred option is to utilize your Delegate Tab.  This will give you an easier control over your different parts of your mailbox.
