Run-time Error 525: Data Access Error.

Hello

i have an application written by a former colleague of myne in Visual Basic 6 that uses a database in Access 97. It has been working under Windows XP Pro for quite a while now (there was one trick to do for it to run, register dao350.dll). Now i need to upgrade the OS to Windows 7 and this application is not working any more, even after the little trick with dao350. I get the run-time error 525: Data Access Error. Is there any chance the application will run under Win 7?

Regards,
Cosmin

I've already tried to register the dao350.dll (i did copy it to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO\ and register it), but this worked only under windows XP.

yes... did you see the section about

"To resolve this problem, set the Connect property of the intrinsic Data control to Access 2000, which uses DAO360.dll. This resolution is valid even if you are using a Microsoft Access 97 database"
