Either check your settings through the GUI or from a CMD prompt - IPCONFIG /ALL
Check your gateway.  If it connected to the domain it should have the correct internal DNS.
Probably obvious answer but you didn't say it was checked.

Can you ping Internet IPs?  Try 4.2.2.2
Can you ping Internet names?  www.microsoft.com
During the name ping, does it correctly resolve the name?  NSLOOKUP?
What ip-adress, subnettmask, gateway and dns-servers does the pc get?
What is the result when pinging the gateway and dns-servers?

I did a Ipconfig/ all and the system is pointing to the server for DNS same way all of the others systems are now if I ping I get no responce outside of the network but I can ping within the network .... I was thinking ... limited knowledge with WIN7 but when every you touch a network it ask if this is a home or work network could it be something save bad in the profile for this network that is creating it not to connect.... also was thinking of adding the DNS of the WAN to the system to see if that would work ??
Could it be the under primary DNS suffix of the computer the domain is listed and there is a check mark beside Change primary DNS suffix when domain memebership changes..  I am not in the office to check the other pc's to see if this is set to this ... should this be blank ?
do you have it set to a static IP and have you tried to reset the adapter. If not reset the adapter and set the adapter settings to dhcp
1.rerun the connect to internet wizard select work or office profile

2.reset internet explorer
in properties under advance tab then click reset
Being able to ping an IP address like 4.2.2.2 has nothing to do with DNS.  Was everything but the IP address and MAC address the same as other machines?
Any possible network security (MAC layer) blocking at your gateway?

The laptop is set to DHCP and it looks like all the settings are the same as the other systems in the office.  yeah looks like every thing in the ipconfig/all was the same on the systems
have you attempted to force re-synchronization to the server. If not run mobsync and select synchronize.
