In outlook is there a shared "task"

I sometimes have critical tasks, due in 4 days.

I would like to setup a shared task that would ping myself and my team lead in 3.5 days !!!!

I drag drop my email to "tasks" and I want to CC my boss when the task pings me in 3.5 days.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can click on "Assign Task" and assign the task to your boss. Then it will ping both of you.

1) click tasts,
2) check the column on the left side of the outlook. You should see "share My tasks folders".

If the task is still stored as an email (not as a standard task) then you can forward it and it should use the same follow-up flag and date for both parties.
