User cannot access network after reboot on iMac.

He had to reboot the computer and after the reboot the computer is not accessing our network via the Ethernet but only thru the wireless router.  As such, his voip phone isn’t working.

What's the problem?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Does the ethernet connections show up in System Profiler (pull down the Apple menu to About this Mac and hit More Info)?

What are the ethernet settings in Network Preferences (can you provide us with a screen shot?)

The IP Phone was the problem.  Phone reboot solved the problem.   Weird!
