I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Typically once the cards are activated, no username/pw is required... all you need is the correct number to dial, and that should be either *98 or *99 - those are the only 2 numbers I'm aware of for GSM/HSDPA data-only connections. (CDMA/EV-DO uses #777, for what it's worth.)
i'm not familiar with the carrier configuration, but these links might help. the first is a link to carriers supported with your 240. the second is how to configure it on the 240.

I need to populate the APN field for the card to work.

Do you know the APN settings for AT&T in North America?

Thank you.
your carrier should provide that for you; otherwise i do not know.
