MAPI32.dll wrong version ESM error
Good afternoon (or whatever time of day it is where you are),
getting the MAPI32.dll wrong version error on Exchange 2003. I have an old Exchange server that I am about to decommission. It has not been running exchange services for about a year now. Can I copy that MAPI32.dll file and paste it into the new exchange server's directory (after renaming the MAPI32.dll file on the new server)? The version on the old exchange server is newer and I don't get an error when I open ESM on the old box. The file sizes are the same if that matters.
Thanks for the help

haven't done this yet. will post back when completed. I suspect lucid8's comment will do the trick using the working MAPI file from the other exchange server.
If doesn't worked try installing/reinstallaing service pack 2.
