Stored procedures recomplilation

Hello All,

I did major deployment over the weekend. Since then there are two sprocs which are giving timeout/hour glass in the application. The sprocs if I recompile they seem to work fine. But then again after couple of hours they create issues.

Can anyone tell me why recompilation solves the problem for time being? What could be the real fix for these sprocs?

Please advice?
