Dell OpenManage Arry manager corrupt event log

When opening the event log within storage manager product "Dell OpenManage array manager" I receive the message "alert log file is corrupt. Please clear all events to enable event logging." - However I cannot clear the events due to the event log being corrupt.  How does one clear or delete the log file?

Boot the server and during the post process press CTRL-E at the BMC/Drac and select the hardware/system log and clear it.
