General Question

I need some good sources of Service oriented architecture and how it works. I found some online sources but not very helpful.
 I just need some very good references so I can learn more about this and understand the Design and the Algorithm of these type of systems.

What links have you already looked at? What did you find deficient in them. No sense repeating ourselves.
If you don't like the online resources, then your best bet is to find the nearest good university and talk to the professors there to see if they have any classes that cover that.
