"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can do what you want but you will need VBA to run when the workbook is opened.

Add this code to the ThisWorkbook code module:

Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    Application.DisplayFullScreen = True
End Sub

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the code. Is that possible to fix this view only for a specific workbook. Currently I notice all other workbook also having a Full screen view until I restore it. Let say when user exit the workbook, the full screen view is released automatically.

Yes. Use this code instead of the above code:

Private Sub Workbook_Activate()
    Application.DisplayFullScreen = True
End Sub

Private Sub Workbook_Deactivate()
    Application.DisplayFullScreen = False
End Sub
