Why my schedule task doesn't run?

Hi, I'm using Windows 2008, please see the attached screen shot.  I select the task and click Run and it works find.  However, it just doesn't run on the schedule time.  I'm running under the Administrator account with highest priority checked.  How can I fix this?  Thank you

This is under the Trigger of the task?  I modified to 24 hour but it does take that.  I change to 1 day when i click OK.  and for duration I selected indefintely.  But it still doesn't run when the time comes.  Please see the attached screen.Thank you

I have screen shots of all the tabs for the task attached.  Appreciate it if you can have another look and see if you see anything wrong. Thanks.

I tried setting exp date and still nothing.  I then schedule to start Firefox browser and that didn't run either.  However, just like my C# console program task, if I right click then select Run the it runs just fine.  Don't know why the trigger is just not working.

Try these:

Set the "wake computer to run this task"
Make sure you have permissions to run the .exe file that it references.
Try setting up a batch file to run the .exe and schedule the batch file instead of the .exe directly.

nothing solid here...just easy things to try.

Hi, tried the "wake computer to run this task"    already and still nothing.  I tried using Admin of this server and also using "System" to run the task and nothing happens.  I created a bat file per your suggestion with a one liner below to start the calculator but still didn't run on schedule time.  I right click to Run it and it flashes a cmd window and then the calculator is not started.  In the action I set it to start a program, points to the bat file.
I changed the action to start a program pointing to the calc.exe file and that when I right click Run, it works but of course not working with the scheduler trigger like everything else I tried  Thank you.
start /d C:\Windows\System32\calc.exe

I tried taking a screen shot right after the task scheduled but didn't run.  In the attachment you see that there is no error msg but just the task is shutting down properly.  Is there anything else I can check to see why my task isn't running at scheduled time?  Thanks.

In the control panel I see only "Windows live language setting"  This can't be it.
In the "Program and Features" I see "Windows live essentials 2011"

Try uninstalling it completely and restart.

Thanks for the points, and glad it helped.
I have had a few issuew with Windows Live at various times....as with most Microsoft products.
They really can be maddening at times.

I've had to update before I upgrade, then add an update roll up....then roll back to the previous install, then downgrade, and then update the downgrade!

yes....many many hours making thier products work properly.
I hired a part time guy just because of them....so I guess they're good for the economy as they creates jobs  :)
