Grabbing Non-Alias Value

Is it possible in command language to grab the value from a field that uses aliases but grab the full text and not the alias. I want to add the value to an email that is sent out but I want to get the full text. In the case below I want to have the text "Sample" and "Example" and not S and E.

Sample | S
Example | E

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You could if you use an additional field (CfD) to offer the list of choises to your current field.
By combining the two fields (@Left and @Trim would be your friends) you can determine the text.
