"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Select A2, and use Freeze Panes.  If you also want Col A to remain in view, then select B2 before freezing panes.

In Excel 2003, it's under View in menu.  In Excel 2007+, it's on the View tab of the Ribbon.

Select the row-2
Then go to view and do freeze panes and this will do what you are looking for...

In 2007 and later you don't need to select anything first - there is an option to freeze the top row regardless of where you are.
