I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This can happen when a user who happens to have access to another Outlook user's Calendar (Shared Calendar) and, typically (but not necessarily), rights to the Mailbox itself. I have found users who inadvertently double-click in another user's Calendar that they have in view and then start an Appointment. Upon sending it out, it will come from whomever's Calendar was the one that the double-click originated from. Before posting up here, I gave this a test and it performed as I had expected.
